I have always grew up seeing Shaktimaan as the real hero in my life. I always wanted to be rescued by him. I still remember that I used to buy Diamond comics and Raj comics which was the name of the comics which used to write very thrilling story about my superhero Shaktimaan. Although Diamond comics have gave birth to many of the superhit characters to India; but my all time favorite is Shaktimaan and will always be forever. One thing that really attracted me towards him and that was his simplicity and the way he use to clean up the evil happenings from this whole world.

And also the other thing which was really appreciating and that was the conversion of a simple and silent man Gangadhar into a power pack house- Shaktimaan. The very transforming of Gangadhar into Shaktimaan used to give me Goosebumps. He was rightly called the Indian Spiderman and also the red color outfit made him look like Spiderman; but still he was very unique in his own sense for sure.


Shaktimaan- His appearance :
The appearance of Shaktimaan was really very fascinating and really power pack. His red outfit made him look really energetic as red is the symbol of power; love; passion and danger. And he was very much capable of showing such characters from his action in the comic too. The symbol of a shining sun also symbolize that the truth and purity never dies even if it hidden for some time. But it does rise after some interval of time. Over all Shaktimaan's outfit showed a very positive aspect of life and it was very much exciting to see the red guy in the comics and made us go dance with happiness when he used to fight and win the battle at the end of the comic.


Quality of Shaktimaan :
There were so many qualities of Shaktimaan that it will be really hard to finish the list today itself. But to name some of my favorite qualities or power are listed below:

1. Speed -

My first favorite power of his will be the fasting speed of his body which made him run or I must rather thunder with unbelievable speed to defend the n number of enemies in front of him.

2. Invisibility -

The power of getting invisible was really superb according to me. This power made his enemy go crazy and they were really not able to find him and in such situation he used to take total advantage of the invisibility power.

3. Immorality -

This power was really divine and this made him live forever at least in the comics and his popularity also made him today also. Immorality was his power of never Dying and always fighting for the right and truth. This made us children believe that what is right will always win and what is wrong and evil will always loss at the end of the show.

4. Mind reading -

His power of reading mind was really amazing as well as very funny also. The people around him used to be his prey sometime just like that as he was able to read their mind and used to repeat it to make the whole scene funny and it happens when sometime he is Gangadhar.

But when he was Shaktimaan then this power of reading mind was like a survivor to him as he was able to know what exactly his enemies was planning to do and by this power he used to make all the planning of his enemies go waste.

The rise of a superhero called Shaktimaan from Diamond comics was totally a sensational news all over India. The character of Shaktimaan was so much famous that his superhero character was introduce as a full-fetched character in Television show named Shaktimaan telecast at National DD channel. The famous character was played by Mukesh Khanna. Shaktimaan character made him so much famous that he was really believed to be the real superhero itself.

But this belief was not good for some children, as they used to believe that Shaktimaan will really come if I am at danger. And just to see him saving themselves they used to put there lives in danger and used to end there life sadly. It was really very bad news after Shaktimaan was broadcasted in television. But still after all this the character of Shaktimaan didn't lost it spark and fame and people started to call him Indian Spiderman to make his name internationally. Shaktimaan will always be my favorite. His character made me realized that even a week man like his other side Gangadhar can also play a role of superhero like Shaktimaan in the real life too.

This made me believe that weakness can be converted into strength if it has a very strong desire to fight back to the evil doing in anyone's life. Even though the character of Shaktimaan is not anymore in the comics; but still the shine in his fame is still the same as it was before and this spark will always be there I believe. I will always love you and nature you in my childhood memory my superhero - My Shaktimaan.
